The iF design award is classified as one of the most distinguished international design prizes. More than 1.600 participants from 48 countries with a total of 4.322 submissions had been assessed by the juries. Wagner System has won even two of the treasured trophies: one iF product design award for the QuickClick “Duo”, the first reversible furniture and floor protection, and one iF communication design award for the both QuickClick spots “Scratch” and “Decibel”.

The QuickClick “Duo”, a premium furniture slide insert, has been awarded with the iF product design award for excellent design and innovation. It can be clicked into every base from the patented QuickClick system. The difference to conventional furniture sliders: You may twist and turn it, and all the time you have got the best protection for your flooring. It is because the QuickClick “Duo” is the first furniture slider with reversible sliding surfaces. A new technical proceeding makes it possible: the “Duo” insert is made of two inseparable materials and fulfils every application desire. On one side fluffy soft wool felts protects hard floorings such as parquet, on the other side an utmost slidable special plastics allows an effortless moving of furniture on soft floorings such as linoleum. The application is extremely easy: the “Duo” slide insert can be turned over with just one click any number of times and without special tools!

For their outstanding communication design the top-class jury honoured the QuickClick spots „Scratch“ and „Decibel“ with an iF communication design award 2012. They have been staged minimalist by film director Jan Reiff – product spots with a clear message and precise action, for international use and in cinema quality. The tenor: Spot 1, “Scratch” – scratches can be expensive. Though the repainting of a luxury sports car is only half as expensive as the replacement of a scratched flooring. Annoying! Spot 2, “Decibel” – a chainsaw is loud. A chair is louder? Right! Chairs often generate deafening shrill sounds when they are moved. Measured in decibels, this even exceeds the volume of a chainsaw.
