Grand prize for great rollers: in the design competition “German Design Award 2017”, Wagner has received a “Special Mention” price for outstanding design quality within the category “Excellent Product Design”. Due to extraordinary design and intelligent technical details, the roller line „Ultraflat“ has convinced the jury. The organizer of the design competition, the renowned “German Design Council”, defines the great importance of the distinction as follows: ”The German Design Award honours innovative products and projects, their producers and designers that are pioneering within the German and international design landscape.”

The design of the novel plant trolleys of the “Ultraflat” line is straight-lined and the rollers provide expressive accents modern style. Manufactured in a selection of trendy colours consisting of the brilliant “Sunshine Yellow, the soft pastel violet of “Mauve” and the delicate “Cool Grey”, the weather-resistant rollers made out of high-quality plastic provide expressive accents. All “Ultraflat” rollers have a load platform diameter of 30 cm, a load-bearing capacity of up to 100 kg and are equipped with three floor-protecting castors for mobility without the worry of marking or damaging floor surfaces e.g. on parquet, laminate or tiles. One variety of the “Ultraflat” line seems to “hover” above the floor: it is made mobile with mini swivel castors, which are countersunk under the load platform. Further design details: a radial riffle on the top surface stabilises the planter during the movement of the “Ultraflat” rollers, and a centrally placed collecting tank stores surplus irrigation water.
