Working radius

Working radius: the wheel is mounted as a rule with a horizontal spacing between the swivelling bearing and the wheel, in order to be able to swivel a swivelling castor smoothly. This spacing is called the working radius. It allows the castor to swivel smoothly and enables stable running behaviour in the case of straight running.
