Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales of WAGNER products into the UK garden centres and multiple chains
  • Dealing with UK garden centre groups and larger independent garden centres
  • Developing a business plan and sales strategy to ensure achievement of company sales and profitability
  • Developing customer-specific sales concepts and promotions in cooperation with sales/development
  • Working closely with WAGNER marketing department to plan, develop and execute communication plans for the UK
  • Advising customers on range, presentation of goods and returns
  • Participation in customer trade fairs and international specialist trade fair
  • Extensive UK travel in supporting our field sales activities (overnight stays)
  • Regular attendance on meetings at our head office
  • Weekly reporting and semiannual sales forecasting


Requirements:

  • Practiced salesperson, experienced in dealing with garden centres
  • Enjoy ambitious sales successes
  • Persuasive and polite personality; ability to work independent
  • Clear self-confidence and goal-orientated way of working
  • Willingness to commit personally to a high level
  • Strong customer-orientation and willingness to travel
  • Confidence with PC applications (MS Office)
